BOARD: Heidi Colson

Heidi is a lifetime resident of Southeast Idaho and is passionate about helping the children of the community. She received her BSN from Idaho State University and has worked as a pediatric nurse in the Pocatello area ever since. She is currently working for Just 4 Kids Urgent Care in Chubbuck. During her career as a nurse, she has had the opportunity to be a sexual assault nurse examiner and has assisted in organizing the program at Just 4 Kids Urgent Care in their Idaho Falls and Rexburg locations. In addition to working with pediatrics, she also works alongside a psychiatric nurse practitioner at BEST, LLC assisting adolescents and adults with mental health medication management.

Heidi has the desire and passion to be an advocate for children. She enjoys serving with different organizations providing service to those in need. Currently Heidi serves with the Hall Foundation assisting with coat drives, providing food for local school’s food pantries, blood drives as well as other services throughout Southeast Idaho.

When not working, Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years and her two children. She is currently getting ready to send her oldest off to college and is enjoying the high school years with her youngest. They enjoy traveling the world and being together!
