Monthly giving provides the steady foundation that allows our Professional Mentors, called Friends, to show up week after week, year after year, for the children in our community who need them most.
$25 each month supports activities, meals, or transportation. $75 funds literacy and life-skills materials. $150 supports caregiver engagement and family stability.
When you become a Friend of the Future, your consistent, ongoing support helps us expand our reach and ensures that the progress we're seeing today continues to multiply across Southeast Idaho.

An in-kind donation refers to a gift given to Friends - Eastern Idaho in the form of goods or services instead of money. We know what you're thinking: how can you support Friends - Eastern Idaho through an in-kind gift?

Contact us or call 208-948-5410 if you have a service you’d like to donate in-kind! The tangible expenses of providing your pro bono service can be at least partially deducted on business tax returns.

One of the smartest ways to amplify your donation is through employer matching gift programs. Many community-minded employers have a matching gift program and will match your gift dollar for dollar. Some companies even match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses!
Did your company not pop up on our search engine? No worries! Simply contact your Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility department to determine if your company participates in a matching gifts program. Your gift may be doubled or tripled, increasing the impact of your donation for the children in our program!

Friends - Eastern Idaho participates in employer-sponsored payroll deduction campaigns. If your company has other programs, such as Benevity, connect with your Human Resources or Corporate Social Responsibility department to enroll.

Every dollar invested in Friends of the Children - Eastern Idaho returns $7 in economic benefits to society, so your contribution has the potential to influence the well-being of others far into the future!
A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will, trust, fund, or endowment specifying a gift be made to family, friends, or Friends of the Children - Eastern Idaho as part of your estate plan.
1. You can gift a specific dollar amount or asset.
2. You can gift a percentage of your estate.
3. You can gift from the balance or residue of your estate.
4. You can make a beneficiary designation of certain assets.
If you are 70½ or older, an IRA charitable rollover is a way you can help further our mission while retaining enjoyable tax benefits.
1. Contact your IRA plan administrator to make a gift from your IRA to us.
2. Your IRA funds will be directly transferred to Friends of the Children - Los Angeles to help continue our important work.
3. Please note that IRA charitable rollover gifts do not qualify for a charitable deduction.
4. Please contact us if you wish for your gift to be used for a specific purpose.

Inspired by our colleagues at Friends of the Children – Austin, we have started a Birthday Closet! What is a birthday closet? A special collection of kid-friendly games, toys, and books for the youth enrolled in our program to choose a gift from on their special day!
We are accepting new, unwrapped items to start our Birthday Closet. You could collect gifts in lieu of personal gifts at your next birthday party, engage your colleagues or friends with a gift drive, or make a donation in honor of a loved one’s birthday.
