Joel was born and raised in Aberdeen, Idaho and educated at the University of Utah (’98) with a degree in Communication with a Minor in Spanish. Upon graduating from the University of Idaho College of Law (’02), he returned home to Southeast Idaho. His respected career has enabled him to serve on the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association board of directors, Sixth District Magistrate Commission for Idaho State Bar and the American Falls School Board. He was recognized in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyers in Idaho.
In addition to being a husband and father of four, Joel speaks fluent Spanish and loves hunting, fly fishing, reading, attending sporting events and dabbles in Drone Photography. He also has extensive experience with nonprofit board service.
