Randy Jensen holds a Master's degree in Education Administration from Idaho State University. With an impressive 38-year career in education, he has served in various roles within the American Falls School District, including teacher and principal, and currently serves as the superintendent. Besides his responsibilities within the school district, Randy Jensen actively contributes to educational organizations and initiatives. He is the Board Chairman of the Idaho Digital Learning Alliance (IDLA) and is also a board member of the Idaho State Superintendents Association and the Association for Middle Level Educators Foundation. Randy‘s positive enthusiasm for education and servant style of leadership led him to be named the 2005 NASSP National Middle School Principal of the year, the 2014 AMLE National Distinguished Educator and the 2023 Idaho Superintendent of the Year. He was a Fulbright Scholar where he trained administrators in Brazil. Dedicated to improving literacy and education, Randy, along with his daughter, founded the non-profit organization READ TALK PLAY Everyday. In his leisure time, Randy enjoys spending quality moments with his grandkids, engaging in activities such as bike riding and golfing.
