Kara Morgan has devoted my career and education to making the world a better place for all children. With a Bachelor of Arts from Idaho State University in Early Childhood Education and Development, along with an associate’s degree and technical certificate in the same field, she brings a strong foundation in child development and educational practices. Over the past six years, she has worked with children from preschool through sixth grade, developing and implementing behavioral intervention strategies to support diverse needs. This experience has given her deep appreciation for the many ways to support and empower young minds.
Currently, Kara is a graduate student studying Social Work to expand her understanding of how socioeconomics, family dynamics, and community interactions shape children's lives.
Kara is thrilled to serve as the Development and Events Coordinator for Friends of the Children, a role that aligns with her passion for impactful, evidence-based methods of nurturing children’s growth. This position holds special meaning for her, as she has been fortunate to receive invaluable support throughout her own journey, showing her how to achieve her dreams—and she is dedicated to helping each child experience the same.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time in nature, exploring self-improvement skills, and practicing mindfulness activities to foster personal growth and balance.
