Lou Osborne is a Professional Mentor, or "Friend", with Friend of the Children - Eastern Idaho. She is also an enrolled member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes and she resides on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation. Her experience is rooted in community-focused organizations, primarily within the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes.
Lou's career reflects a strong commitment to local service with all positions held in Idaho. Her journey demonstrates adaptability and consistent focus on supporting her community. Lou is very passionate about helping people and creating solutions that make real impact. With experience in child care, Lou enjoys tackling challenges, learning new things and collaborating with others to bring ideas to life.
Outside of work, Lou is always exploring ways to grow personally and professionally, being a mother of two beautiful children. Lou's hobbies include cooking new recipes, painting portraits, making jewelry from earrings to necklaces, bowling with her kids, bingo with the elderly, nutrition, and hiking with her kids to explore nature! Lou looks forward to being part of such a profound program with Friends of the Children and creating her positive impact to better serve her community.
